Make sure you are not losing valuable runtime that can negatively impact your operations.
Newcastle's PowerSwap Nucleus® Classic & MINI Lithium batteries last years (but not forever). And they do not just stop working - they slowly lose capacity over time (as shown in chart below).
After years of optimal performance, the time will come when your team starts swapping out batteries more frequently to get your required run time. Longer charge times can also impact your operation. Overall performance suffers - not good for business.
When should I replace my Nucleus batteries?
Industry-standard recommends battery replacement at 75 - 80% State of Health (SoH). Replacing an aging battery prevents unexpected failures that could disrupt operations and lead to costly downtime.
A fresh battery provides you with full capacity - meaning longer runtime and better performance. New batteries are also warranted for 5 years (Nucleus Classic PSNU3.6) and 3 years (Nucleus MINI PSNU1.8M).
Our new PSNU-DT & PSNU-DTM Diagnostic Tools are advanced monitoring units that accurately measure and display detailed battery data. This includes the state of health (SoH), number of cycles, temperature levels, and more.
Outstanding benefits
- Easy to use - simply insert the diagnostic tool into the battery and detailed battery health data appears on the LED screen.
- Ensure optimal battery performance, reliability, and runtime by periodically monitoring your smart battery’s data.
- Help with planning and managing battery replacements as end-of-life nears.
